After much delay in Joburg airport, we finally made it to Cape Town. I kept thinking Joburg to Cape Town was a quick trip, like a Milwaukee Chicago. WRONG. Try Chicago to Utah. Well, we finally made it to our hotel and its spectacular. We are situated right on the waterfront. Out one window are cruise ships, fishing boats and yachts. The other window is full of ocean, palm trees and beach.
Everyone here has been very friendly and accomodating. One thing that surprised us all is that everything is very crowded. The ped malls, the grocery store, restaurants - everything. Don't worry Mom; one adult to every child with a lot of hand holding.
I don't have any pictures for you all today but will post some "city" pics soon. We will be hiking Table Mountain soon and hitting the water to see Robin Island - where Mandela was held - shortly. The kids want to go into shark cages and see the seals. We are all for the seals but leary of the sharks. Can you say scarred for life? Jaws?
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve! Hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe.
Love you all, K
MERRY Christmas to all and to all a good morning. Busy, Busy
