December 26th

Off to hike Table Mountain today.  Even though it was only 2.2 km (about 1.4 miles) it was straight up through the gorge.  It was tough and took about 1 hour 45 minutes!  All kids did amazingly well.  It was the sweaty adults that were huffing and puffing.  Once we got to the top, even with a few clouds; it was well worth it.  The views were beautiful and too look at up Table Mountain from sea level knowing we hiked to the top was satisfying. 

No, we did not hike back down.  Like smart America’s, we utilized the very cool tram.  If you thought the walk was a straight line up; image the tram: straight down in about 2 minutes and it turned a full 360.  Pretty neat.  Enjoy the pics.
